Just bought the Infinity HPS 1000 off of ebay. Replacing the Infinity HPS 500. To the uninitiated, its a 15" downfiring subwoofer with 2 15" passives linked to a 1000 Watt Infinity amplifier mounted into the sub box.
THe old toy was a 15" downfiring ported sub with a 500 W infinity amp.
This is for the home theater, BTW.

Nice Sub. Was it a leftover NOS? If so let me know if there are more. I have to replace a Velodyne that has been water damaged.
I auditioned this sub for awhile at home, It pumps out some base.

not NOS, it was used. I had a shot at a NOS but the price went beyond what i thought was reasonable. Yeah, it can pound. I noticed ebay tends to have 1-2 a month... my HPS 500 sold to the first guy to come by.. i put in "Matrix" and after watching Trinity beat up the cops for about .5 seconds, he said "I'll take it."



That 1000 is simply incredible. I can't really even turn it all the way up, and my tolerance is very high, and that's after using the 500 for 3 years....
