Ryan as in Ryan Brooks???
Exactamundo...

Ryan owns/drives Mike Bergman's NSX GT2 racecar (setup by AoB) at track events. A very quick car, stripped down and setup -- possibly one of the fastest normally-aspirated NSXs I've seen.

I sent him an email invite, with a link to this event. Hopefully he'll show up :D
Just heard back from John V -- he's judging at the Bimmer show the same day, then heading up to South Haven for the 6/14 Gingerman event.

Yet another reason to stop by the BMW show . . .

Is there a reason the 94 won't make it? I assume the 91 is the one that is currently apart? Perhaps the answer is found in some of your relatively recent posts on the joys of driving a manual? ;)

LOL!! The '94 is the one that is apart, but it is because of mods, not repairs. I have added Eibach Pro-Kit springs, Bilstein shocks, Science of Speed carbon fiber front lip, and am waiting for my exhaust to arrive that I am buying from another NSX Prime member. That and I am getting the front bumper and some other stuff repainted so it is perfect for my wedding pictures. :)

weather MAY be a factor

Right now my biggest concern is the weather . . .
We're getting big thunderstorms (and tornado potential) Thursday evening through sometime Friday in Chicago.

Is the Wilde show a rain-or-shine event ??

Backup for 6/13 is watching the Montreal GP :)

Well... after looking at the weather, It looks like I will be taking the CRX (you know how I am about driving the NSX in the rain) :) What are the details looking like?

Here is a recent post from the Wilde Honda thread I posted above:

Since the Waukesha Expo schedules events way in advance i think this is the only day we have available. The other problem is that chances are we wont be able to re-schedule without conflicting with other event dates. From what there saying it will be widely scattered if we get rain Sunday so lets hope for the best. We have plenty of indoor space and there will be tents in the lot that people can get out of the sun or rain.
Think sunny happy thoughts!

Also running this weekend is the 24H LeMans race -- lots of coverage Saturday evening through Sunday.

FYI, our friend Andie "Cobalt Friction" Lin is out at The Sarth, helping support the JMB Ferrari team campaign several 360GT cars.

It is looking UGLY! for weather tomorrow! We may have to cancel. Weather.com is stating "strong storms" starting around 9am and running through the entire day.
Bummer.... looks like its SpeedTV for LeMans and F1 Montreal GP for me and my cats. Hopefully I'll get to the next one :D

Well....I guess Mother Nature has spoken....hopefully I will get to see you all very soon. :)

Those of you who bailed for the weather missed out . . .

It may have been raining in your locale, but I got a sunburn on Sunday . . .

I'll get some more pics up in the next day or two. I haven't heard the results yet. We were the clear winners of the "best club" event, but may not have been officially entered in that category . . .

You should have seen the commotion when we pulled in. Most everything else there was ordinary, with a few exceptions (in particular the late-entrant Mallet 435 C5 that stayed on the trailer the whole time, even when revving the engine).

Here is my car (silver) and Jason's (red), as well as few others:

Here is the rear of a few cars, including Shaun's NSX.

The only other NSX at the show was another 'member' of our 'club', although he came late and I didn't get a pic. It is a 95-T with a black roof and white paint, with a CF hood and other mods to make it kind of a faux Type-R.
