I know that this has been brought up before, but just had my driver's side regulator cable break at head and cable went into motor. Any suggestions for repair, replacement , or any ideas would be appreciated as dealer wants over 500 for regulator.

Umm, if you know this why are you starting a new thread?
If you search around the DIY forum you will find that some guy rebuilds these things about $85.
