Thanks to FastraxTurbo for taking the awesome pictures.

SWEEEEEETTTTT pictures!

Even though most of my day was spent fumbling around under my car and only ended up doing about 3 semi-hot laps I still had a TON of fun. Met some super cool people as always and finally got to drive with some other NSX's! (first for me)

Regan as always your car astounds me, truly truly well built and rock solid. Ryan too, your ride is maniacal with you behind the wheel. Seriously fast. Its really cool to see 11 years of track days with nothing but good times is possible when you keep it simple.

Thanks again for all your help, I sort of expected issues with mine after how much I changed. The good news is the foundation I build is super solid. Good enough to set a PB with no tweaking or even having had chance to check the tire pressure. Once I get the small stuff sorted out and get some actual seat time i'm confident I have another 5-6 seconds to pull out of the car. What a blast to be back in the NSX.

Will,
Great video. You really captured your day. Haha. So funny. Your car is going to be a beast when you work out the last small tweaks. It looks and sounds insane as well. I'm very impressed on what you have been able to personally do to your car. I'm such a pussy, I don't even change my own oil. I'm afraid I would mess it up.

Epic photos. Regan. I have seldom been on track with another NSX, much less in a photo with three. Nice work. Great meeting you and Will. Riding in your car makes me want more power and seeing Will's car makes me want some aero.

Will - Man.......! I love your videos. This was one especially worth the wait. However, you only captured a fraction of the frustration I was feeling for you! Everything on your car is put together so so well. Very well thought out so when you had these minor gremlins I was like.. ARRRRGGGGHHH!!!! They were such small issues but enough to totally ruin your track day. Well, it made for an epic (and hilariously funny) video. I love it. Thanks for the good times (HA!) Btw.. I hate you. 2:03 on your warm-up. I'm not sure if more than 3 people broke 2:03 that entire day! I was stoked to break under 2:10 at my best lap. Fucking awesome.

Ryan - Holy shit man. Riding shotgun with you changed my life. That car of yours is so well setup. Amazing grip. Amazing balance. Amazing driver.. seriously. You make all NSXs look good. We need to do this more often. I need you and Will's help to break 2:05 lol - in my dreams.

More pics I received from Jon last night.

I should've joined you guys at BW instead of going to ACS. LOL
Awesome vid and great pics. Sorry to hear about gremlin Willem. Glad it was nothing serious.
So, when is our next track day Regan?

Thanks for the comments guys. It was frustrating, but with a little hindsight you realize thats what always makes the successes sweeter. Like I was saying to you guys at the track im happy that the chassis stuff is working well, you can really feel the potential. maybe next time ill even check my tire pressures and temps, HA. seriously didnt even do that ALL day.

Bottom line is that the car made it to the track and back under its own steam and set a few flying (albeit extremely gentle) laps. Ive already started a list of fixes and ways to tackle them. Next time when im out at the track with you, Regan, and not covered in coolant well have to do some ride alongs. You'll break into the 05's EASY with that beast.

looks like good times guys. I remember riding shotgun with Ryneen at Buttonwillow a few years back and it was eye opening.

I ran only the 2 laps in the video at a 2:03:1 and 2:03:4 while nursing the car around. Ive got 235/17 and a 274/18 flat spotted NT01's :]

Are you driving the factor-X NSX on Thursday? I took work off to go watch.

Ran 2:02.4 with passenger. Nitto NT01 235/17 front and 275/17 rear. I need to fix my blown out diff to get under 2:00.

I ran a 2:09.1 but only after chasing these guys and following their lines. I average more along 2:13 that day with much of that trying to get some good engine data logs for Jon. This is my 3rd time out on the NSX so maybe one day I hope to break 2:05-06 with my tire setup (215/265 Z1 Star Specs).

Still a hell of a fun day even when it was suppose to be a "shakedown" day for Will and me.

Awesome times guys. Really glad to see NSXs out on track!

Ryan, Isn't that 2:02 you're best? Do you remember what I did in your car? I think you were >2:05s when we went out last...

William - Great video! That rear bar looks quite large... And your car looks a bit loose. I might suggest putting a stock zanardi rear back on. I'd expect to see some 57's out of you soon! What diff and gear ratio do you have? I recommend an OSG with the JDM 5speed ratios which make a big difference at BW.

RYU - keep up the good work! What suspension do you have?

Hopefully soon! Trying to make the Big Willow Dec 14-15 with 9Doors. Hopefully you guys will come out also! Don't let the threat of inclement weather scare you haha :)

At the moment i'm on a set of DG5 Suspension Magic on 9k F/11k R springs with Type R front sway bar and stock 97 rear bar. I haven't really gotten a good feel for the car yet but as time goes I might change my setup completely. I really do want it to be a street car first then a track car second so it'll be interesting what's the most I can get of out of my setup now. I'll be incredibly happy with 2:06s.

Maybe one day, we'll be lucky enough (and you'd be kind enough) to join us in a track day and you can give me your thoughts on our setups. It's been a loooooong journey to get my car to a point where I feel safe enough to beat on it!

If you swap your spring rates F-R, you'll have very similar wheel rates as the NSX-R.
Will definitely consider that. Thanks!

I do have a Dali 1" Trophy bar sitting in on the shelf right now. Was maybe thinking of trying that out first but only after I can swap to the OEM 00+ ABS unit to make room for the bar.

So many projects! So little time...

Yes, that is my personal best. I ran a 2:02.7 in April. You ran a 2:00.xx a year or two ago in my car with a similar setup to the way it is now. I think that was the same day you had to stop on track so your girlfriend could barf out of the passenger window. Do I recall this correctly?

Awesome pics, great video. Do wish i could have joined you guys even though i don't like Raceline. Sound like it was a really great day.

All-in all, best that i didn't go as in the crack in my oil pan would have gotten worse and either oiled the track (dangerous for everyone else) or possibly ruptured causing an oil fire or loss of a motor - bad for me ;)

Dropping everything and putting a new one on this weekend. If that goes well, Chuckwalla next Friday, then Big Willow on Dec 14th (I was incorrect, Speedventures is only doing Saturday @Big Willow). Buttonwillow is finally in the plan for sometime in 2014. Patty and I have never been there, so while I know I'd be chasing you guys on every track, i hope i can even see you in the distance at BW!

Love the setup on the RPF1's! Is it safe to assume those are 17/18? I plan on going with RPF1's on my car, in black, so I was excited to see those!

And the video was awesome! I can't wait to get some wheel time on a track!

We only have a couple events near me every year (5 hours away), but I would like to get my car setup so it is a street car first that is track worthy to an extent. I'll probably be trailering the car as I have a diesel pickup and an enclosed trailer (for my drag car primarily).
