I've mentioned in many threads, but haven't illustrated why I feel safer about my new office's parking situation...so here goes:

I'm pretty sure I have nothing to worry about parking in THIS spot.

I guess the obvious, where do you work? Furthermore, why are their so many z8's?

Furthermore, why are their so many z8's?

Actually, the front two are Alpina Roadster V8s...and, what you can't see in these pics, are all of the other Bimmers in the lot.

As far as I can tell, some of the local car dealerships (BMW, Volvo, Mitsubishi) use this lot for storage. I had no idea that a single BMW dealership would get so many of these more limited production models (the Alpina sticker price: $138,000).

...and you know what Eric, your NSX outclasses the rest of them combined. ;)

Yup! :D

I wonder if BMW is having problems selling the Alpina Roadster...

Who in their right mind would buy the Alpina when they could have a 360 Modena, or even a Gallardo? I've seen a few up close--doesn't do it for me at all.

Z8 ....... blech!!!! I'm glad they're getting rid of that car.

As for your new digs, I must say the new location is really pimp! :D But, boy, I'd have a hard time getting down to that garage. :)

I saw a silver Alpina Z8 driving around town today and was shocked....looks great, but seeing a $138,000 car running around in this city is unusual. Especially in winter.

your NSX looks drop dead gorgeous!!!

Aren't all NSXs drop dead gorgeous?

I do have a good camera...but the conditions I used it in to take the above pics were far from ideal (dark underground parking garage, fluorescent lighting)...so it's gotta be the car. :D

Indeed, NSX just looks better in RED:D J/K

Interesting thread. I also had a really good parking situation at my old office. Every other car was a Ferrari or a Porsche. This is just one example of what I mean...

Just having Ferraris park nearby doesn't guarantee a better parking situation. Here's a pic overlooking the lot from our previous office...

This public lot is in a very tourist-heavy part of Santa Monica. Our cars obviously attracted a lot of attention (as evidenced by these tourists...who spent 45 minutes posing for photos with each of our cars).

Well, I suppose I can see what you mean. But for me, in my situation, it was good that my car was the least expensive car there and probably drew the least attention. Also don't want the boss to think he's paying you too much. ;)

Oh...and Porsches didn't help my old situation either.

Also don't want the boss to think he's paying you too much.

My boss owns both the 355GTS and the GT2 pictured above. :p

damn, i'm in the wrong business. All i got is a bunch of duallies around me.
