How come Acura didnt make the NSX wider and wedged look ( wider rear)? does width have any ad/disadvantages over narrorer body? just curious..

Boston<FONT COLOR=red>NSX</FONT>, i got a 1/18th model too... and started looking at mine more intently coz of ur comments here (usually i just drool or cry "you the daddy!!!")

... the NSX does look kinda thin.. (the model anyway) but that's probably just coz of the era it was designed in. I personally think the original red with black roof made the car tail and maybe the car overall look a tad wider. This is because the black roof makes the car 'look' a lot lower to the ground. Since honda changed the roof colour it has altered the NSX's overall appearance a LOT. (that's NOT saying coloured roof coupe's and NSX-T's look less attractive)

BostonNSX... what do u think?

check the comparison.. Nsx is long and narrow.. they should make the same stock body wider...plus the big forward canopy windshield design made it overall a somewhat "tall" image but actually the overall car is pretty "low"

(ps ignor the toys in da background)

Ohhh... now THAT's a beautiful photo... u should rename the files to "NSXinGoodCompany.jpg"

*scratches head* yeah... next to the Ferrari & DeLorean, it does look kinda skinny. i've gone through my entire collection of NSX pix, but can't seem to find any real life shot that shows the thinness... although in the photos it looks skinny to me now.

Get this: using the top pix of urs, the NSX is ~215 pixels wide (at front wheels), with the Ferrari at about ~200 pixels (after taking into consideration the angle illusion)!!!! *scratches head again*

Conclusion: My ONLY explaination as to the NSX was designed narrow is for aero-dynamic reasons; because it presents less front-surface to create resistance. Although a wide car looks beefier, it will drag more.

This also explains why the DeLorean is wider... because it doesn't need to reach any speeds higher than 88mph in order to travel through time. Can u imagine reaching 166mph? it would overload the flux capacitor and cause a paradox!

That Sony 16" screen you mentioned are pretty expensive.. I like it but I myself favors the Sony VX series.. slimmer and nicer than the 505 Series!

Well then, I guess I have a figment of my imagination in my garage. But I don't understand what it has to do with a Toyota like this:

I thin I rather get a Ford Focus and rice it up to a rally car..

To my understanding l.. Matrix got a forum like NSX!.. and isnt theres a NSXer trade in his NSX targa for it? because he said he like 4wd? and some unlucky guy won that NSX._?

NeoNSX.. I think the name of the notebook is the same.. in Japan.. its called the VX too.. its not a PDA notebook.. its as big as 505 but slimmer.. lighter !!! much better..
