Went to pick up my NSX from Patton Automotive yesterday afternoon, and there was a black NSX on the lift that looked to be in the process of getting shiny new headers.

I don't know but can you tell me about Patton.
Jason Patton & his wife, Jodi run the place. Except for my timing belt (which I had done before I know about him) every service and repair to my NSX for the last 5 1/2 years (70,000+ miles) has been done by his shop.
I'm pretty sure he's an Acura dealer trained NSX tech, but I've never asked him for credentials, so you might want to investigate that. He was recommended to me by another owner shortly after I bought my car.
