There have been a few pet threads in the past, but I finally got some good pics of both ours together. Klondike, the basset hound, is about five months old. Dominic, the british shorthair, is about nine months old. I'm so glad that they have become such great pals.

looks like they're best buddies... becomes one of those instances where if one leaves for a period of time, the other becomes really upset and lonely real quick.

Dominic will go to the basement to "take care of business" and Klondike will stick his head through the cat door and whine. There is nothing more sad than a wimpering basset hound. Klondike is a very happy dog, can't you tell from the pics.

Dominic will even sleep on top of Klondike's crate at night most of the time.

great pics, but aren't there laws on the books against these kinds of relationships?

They are very cute...

I had a dalmation/shelty mix for 21years, he was born exactly 1 year after I was ..then I had to put him down 2 days before my 22nd birthday.

no more pets for me.
