That is Ferrand just like 2slow2speed stated.
He's a primer and very familiar with that track and he's quick!
Always get black flagged for driving too fast at all HPDE.
gee, thanks Dan
I'm not that fast, given I've been driving that track for last 7 years, for the record, Kip had never been to the track, with one day practising, he cracked a 1:27.5 lap record, which is a whopping 8 seconds faster lap time than my best to date.
Re MetalSpikeRacing: I always love your car's pictures.
here's more info on the g2x:
http://www.racepak.com/Road_Racing/G2X.php ; to be honest I haven't even used the full function of the system... that lap timer, speed and rpm alone with the video footage were enough for me to become a faster driver. (I'm a computer idiot)
Pacific Raceways is an old fun track and it was the location for nsxpo 08. I love that track as it got all the training tools (long straightaway, slow corner, fast chicane, braking down hill, long sweeper that allows you do tight line, slow in fast out, or even double apex; bumpy track and tricky road surface as they patching old spots) the attraction of the track is also proved to be deadliest as the lack of run off areas and the requirement of dicipline.. but that just reward the driver as he putting his time and effort to learn the track and also tuning the car. NSX shines on this track, stock or modified, I was disappointed the lack of turnout as I knew a few of our local members can drive and I hate to be the darkhorse everytime I went there. I did reach my bottle neck as I realized my "full stock" motor are within seconds to the SCCA track record M3. and as NA1/2-R GT stated, my speed and 'lines' concerned various corner workers.
Lucky for me, this track just opened couple years ago, and it become my favorite. Most important thing is that I wasn't alone, and all the fast hardcore drivers in the NW adores it and became regular there as well.
