I always drive with an Under Armor Heat Gear running pants and top under a t-shirt. I throw on a light jacket when weather permits. This outfit is strictly reserved for when I drive the X. Anyone else have similar types of OCD behavior?

LMFAO...LoL...sorry please forgive me but that was a good chuckle u gave before I head out for drinks.

+1 Commando all the way.

Like Thurston Howell III,
I wear a white captains hat, a dinner jacket, a starched shirt, an ascot bearing my family's crest, naked from the waist down, pinching a jar of grey poupon between my thighs, and driving loafers with black nomex socks.

Only once.... but then the Chief Pilot and her boyfriend told me that we can't fly together any more.

And yes, she was actually a First Officer for a while (even though she wore - kind of - a Captain's uniform in her photo shoot ).

Taking the X out is like going on a date, it needs to be special. Therefore, each experience needs to be like the first.

I also like to wear something soft to minamize the wearing out of the seat bolster each time I brush it upon entering and exiting the car.

I specificly ordered a T because I needed clearance for my unicorn horn.

I am sorry but I have to laugh at this thread, in a good way.
I just make sure I am fully clothed whenever I go outside,
Driving or not.

this thread is funny as hell.

top hat and tails for me.

a guy in my neighborhood drives an old copy repair truck with a bumper sticker that says "i'm not wearing any pants." just a suggestion for some of you guys.

i wear great driving shoes from an unexpected place:barefoot shoes.these are fairly new,the idea is that the foot is extremely well designed and functions better without a lot of padding.there's an amazing book about barefoot running called "born to run." i think there's something to it.the side benefit for driving is that you can feel the pedals really well.i have some from this company

or you can try these with the individual toes and really weird people out at the car meet

other stuff i do:if i've been to the gym i put a towel on the seat. to protect the bolster, try holding it with your left hand as you get in,sliding your clothes over the back of your hand.

lol. No specific outfits, but I definitely have to make sure I have some comfortable shoes when driving the NSX.

+1 I got a pair of Osiris's that are black and orange. The sole is pretty thin and I can feel the pedals very well. I wonder if you would want them synth? I just wonder because of you avatar photo.

I have seen RedWings dressed like this and must say...he looks so proper! Only now did I realize that was a jar of Grey Poupon between his legs!

Indeed, it comes in handy at stoplights in North Scottsdale.

I dress like the Stig, doesn't matter if I am going to dinner, lunch date, grocery store etc...adds to the mystery. Chicks dig it.

No specific outfit per se'.

That said:

-Some pairs of shoes work better than others
-Thinner socks...
-I try to avoid cargo shorts/pants because lumpy pocket flaps + deep buckets = extra wear on me bum.
-I'll also try to avoid t-shirts with large printing on the back during the summer months.

I usually have clothes on but I make my GF shotgun naked.

she asks me why I will not let her ride in my car inless she is naked.

I told her I like the thought of her hooty rubbing into my leather.

LOL

hooty? as in blowfish....

No special outfit but no shoes either. Socks give me a better feel and can articulate on the pedal edges better. Actually I do this in any car (with clean mats- meaning any car that I own) that I'm operating more than a half hour.

I did drive onto base naked one night on Okinawa. No MP's on guard, rent-a-JP's on duty that night and got waved on no problem.
