hey guys, i was searching the forum and all i could find is that there is a kit that is sold but it is an indiglo type of gauge.

There really is no type of white face gauges that actually replace the OEM one?

I am going to have some made by a good company, anyone know if there is a problem with removing the needles and the faces on the NSX cluster?

by the way, if someone with a km/h cluster is interested in having a free set, PM me.

if you want to take a look at this, i had a set made by him www.blackcatcustom.com on my rx-7 and they were great.

thanks a lot

Chris at SOS sells what you are looking for. I think my car is his demo on the web. I did mine but is a real challenge, its like working the inside of a watch. A good speedo man can do the swap. Dan

You might need to private him. It has been a while since I looked. The only downside is you get bright spots at night from the back light and it is hard to get the needles to rest in the same position with the car turned off. I like the type-r look though. Dan

RM also used to sell them,if they are still in business call em.

We discontinued this product about a year ago since the installation company we worked with went out of business and customers were damaging their clusters during self-install (the motors are very fragile). If you are interested, we can still make them for you (in red or blue). Our faces are a direct copy of the factory gauges with out the "NSX-R" or extended text of Andy's gauges. However, you should be aware of the extreme delicate nature of the gauges before you install.

Cheers,

I bought the crappy indiglo gauges, back when there was a group buy. THEY SUCK. My needles are always sticking. A couple of the numbers on the rpm side are burnt out. You can now get them on ebay for $35. Great deal...NOT. I think I am going to go to stock and get the little rings that SOS sell. I thought those looked pretty good.

I was successfull with my changeover. Other than getting the needles off the other problem is the calabration so the readings are the same as before. Any one have a spare guage cluster that can be used as the core. Once I build a test bench for it the changeover would not take as long. When I get one finished I can figure out what to charge for all that are interested. Dan
