Which would you most consider buying? I would most likely consider the Lexus because it seems like it is the most pure racing design, it would hold its value well and be ultra reliable, Lexus has excellent service, and the interior pics I have seen are awesome.

Would you be tracking the car? If so wouldn't you go more for the GT-R or ASC? Nissan and Honda tend to make more of a drivers car than Lexus. Of course it still remains to be seen if Toyota actually changes course with the LF-A. I've yet to read anyone testing a Lexus that didn't say the steering on whatever model they had was either numb or not very communicative compared to it's rivals. I think the GT-R will be the EVO of the bunch as it's suppose to have the lowest price tag of the bunch. The interior will probably be pretty low rent compared to the others.

08 will be a pretty exciting year for Asian sportscar enthusiasts:biggrin:

I want a GTR! That Acura sports car looks like shit.:frown:

I would not buy an R8 new. No way. I would DEFINITELY consider one used.

I think the LF-A will be a spectacular car. I seriously doubt that Toyota the giant is going to come out with a car like this as their first entry model and have numb steering. I think that car will be very fast.

But there will never be another NSX. We are sealed in history forever. I was just reading again how Honda admitted losing money on the NSX. I may never sell my NSX. I can't believe 30% of the people here don't like ANY of the new HP Japanese supercars.

Honestly, only the Lexus is even modestly interesting to me.

The Honda/Acura proposal leaves me as cold as ice. How can a car company hit a homerun like the NSX and then 17-years later expect us to get excited about this? You can do better Honda.

R8. Still trying to get used to the grill though.

My wife and I just spotted a silver R8 with the carbon fibre pillar painted going N. on PCH in S. Laguna Beach about an hour ago.

I haven't been a fan of that car based on the pictures I've seen but "in the flesh" it looks considerably better.

I still think I'd rather have the Lambo. it's based on for that kind of $. Better yet, my old, tired NSX and a grip of cash in the bank.

None of those cars will capture the same impact its predecessors had long ago. There are no more good cars anymore. That's it. It's over. They're running out of ideas. The same thing goes for movies, mainstream music, tv shows, etc. This is just my opinion.

after the lack-luster concept acura put up... my eyes have drifted over to the GTR project and seeing how that will unfold...

By the time i financialy recovered from recent divorce and the recesion, feul will be no longer avaible...lol.

If any choice, it will be italian. Defenetely not german, unless its a racespec M1

I agree with some of the others here; R8 all the way....the nsx that should have been. Maybe in 10-15 years i'll pick up a nice used one

Bro Audi resale values are so bad you'll probably be picking up one a lot sooner than that:wink:
