which balancer ATI vs OEM

Looking at doing a 90K service and would like to replace the damper. I was wonder what your thoughts are on the ATI super damper vs the OEM. I have seen that there was a little talk that the ati may have a tight fit possibly causing issues in the future if ever needing replacement.

I feel like the ATI is a race car part or for highly modified engines. It is a very tight fit and you will likely have to machine the bore. The plus is that it does not fail catastrophically like the OEM and may provide improved damping at 8,000+ rpm.

Unless you run your NSX at 7,000+ most of the time, I'd stick with the OEM.

Most damper failures have occurred on heavily tracked cars that were running hot and high rpm and never changed the balancer at the timing belt service.
