I have a '91 CTSC'd with Type R sways/Zanardi spinrgs/Bilsteins, and 2002 brakes. I use my car as a daily driver, but am considering a 2nd set of wheels/tires for the occasional tracking I do.

What wheel/tire size can anyone suggest for tracking with the general setup I have? Thanks.

You want to have wheels that allow the greatest tire choices esp for R compound down the road. You also should consider whether you will ever put a bbk on.That said $ wise old stock 15/16 wheels are popular as track sets,I'm not sure though if your 02 brakes will work with those.I use 17-8,17-9.5 ssr-c.Many of the track guys will go 235/40/17 up front despite rubbing at full lock because this gives good ballance with rear 275/40/17.

If you mean you have the stock brake calipers and rotors from a 2002 NSX, then no, the 15" stock front wheels won't fit over the brakes. Too bad, since those used wheels are available so cheap, R comp tires are available, and you can fit the entire set inside the car to drive to the track, to NSXPO, etc.

I have heard previously that 17 front / 17 rear is an excellent approach for the track. More thoughts on this vs the differing diameters?/
