Black/ivory interior for moi... heh...

I love the yellows, but do not like black interiors due to heat here in the south, and they look kinda odd with the tan interior. I love the blue/tan like Lud's car, probably my favorite overall, but could not afford a '97 at the time. I would personally like to have more interior color choices, and be allowed to mix and match, ala Porsche and the American marques, but that is just not the "Honda way"

I am not a psychologist, but the eternal quest to be "different" and "not like the rest" has put red at the bottom of the list of many, but in reality the car looks very good in red/black-top and that's why, afterall, Honda made many more of that color combo.

1. New Formula Red (of course)
2. Spa Yellow Pearl
3. Kaiser Silver
4. Silverstone

I could see myself in NSXs sporting any of these colors.

I need to see the Imola Orange NSX in sunlight...the lighting at the L.A. Auto Show made it too hard to judge.

In Order:

Black/Ivory is beautiful and classy. (makes up for my lack of both)

Yellow is just awesome. I'll add this to my collection soon.

Monaco Blue is very sophisticated.

Monte Carlo Blue of course.

Then the silvers....... Sebring, Keiser and then Silverstone. They seemed to get worse as the years went on. (go back to the original silver or better yet, bring that silver that is only in Japan. That looks like real polished silver......what a color.)

I'll bite my tongue when it comes to white and red........

Hmmmm... I wonder......

Just curious ,"why three silver NSX'S"
are they possibly different shades of silver??
I do stay consistant w/ color "Yellow" I own three Yellow auto's but they are three different cars.
Just curious.... PS. if you drove one, your wife another ,and the other one was the track car that would make alot of sense to me.
Anyway..

Of course! Apparently you've never seen them in person.

Sebring Silver ('91-93) is a light, shiny metallic silver. Good match for those gorgeous suspension parts you can see when you bend down and look in the front wheel wells.

Kaiser Silver ('97-99) is a darker gray, gunmetal looking metallic silver.

Silverstone Silver ('00-02) is similar to the Kaiser Silver, but they used bigger metallic flakes in the paint so it looks more "sparkly".

pink, definately pink. because don johnson should have had a pink nsx and that is the reason acura had made the car but it took them too long and i know this because an acura executive told me so, and mary kay promised me a pink one if i work hard, and maaco has a beautiful color called "nipple pink" which is just so sexy....Or maybe pink and black in a beautiful two tone and i can call it beautiful bondage

Ahhh,Daniel-son now that you know the true variables of pigmentation you may start your formal training and know the "way of the NSX"
For one who is in-experienced in the 3 silver colors available by Acura surely does not know the way of life.

It's just the name that's sexy.

Heck, for that matter, you could name a color after your favorite food. Like...

1. Sebring Silver

2. Monte Carlo Blue Pearl (the first/deeper blue, first available in the US in 1997)

3. Spa Yellow Pearl or Imola Orange Pearl (depends on what I had to drink the night before

)

IIRC, there were some discontinued colors, not available even in Japan:
- Magnum Grey Pearl (a deep, almost black one) that Wolfgang has on his Euro 98 coupe
- a chrome-silver (shiner, more metalic than Sebring Silver) -- I like this one a lot

See some examples on my Silver Bullets page

Black only for the older NSXs with the black top. I like the NSX when the roof is the same color, looks more "together". Otherwise, any other color would be fine with me, but it has to have a black leather interior though.

first choice Sebring Silver (Kaiser silver is too grey for my preference)
2nd choice white (which is what I own, I looked for used and I couldn't pass up the price/condition of the '92 garage queen I found, so I bought it)
3rd choice the purple of '94 & '95.

2nd to last choice Black (just too damned hot in the summer, looks good though)
Last choice RED, (makes cops see red when you get pulled over) ( too much of a "LOOK AT ME" statement kinda color)

From the photos I have seen of IMOLA Orange, it reminds me of the butt ugly gold the CL's sported for a year. Maybe it is the photos, I'll check one out tonight at Niello Acura, rumor has it, there is one on the showroom floor.
