What's your daily driver?

How’s that CTR? Hopefully they put the shifter back at the proper location unlike the rally style shifter in the 2002 Civic Si.
I had one of those for a few years and loved the shifter!

The CTR is an amazing DD. It has great torque from 2k rpm, great handling, and is very comfortable on long trips. And it has a useful hatch for carrying things while getting 29mpg.

Highly recommended if you can get one for a reasonable price.

100 Series land cruiser for me. Bought new in 2005, 230k on it currently. All stock w the exception of BFG K02. Been cross-country 3 times and a whole bunch of memories! Thinking about retiring it for DD use though and turning it into a full overland/fishing car - likely replacing with a 2015 Jaguar XJ in the meantime while I wait for an RS3 allocation.

Good choice on the Land Cruiser. My 4runner has 270k . I wouldn’t go too crazy with overlanding. Limit the lift to 1-2” and don’t go too aggressive on the tires. Curious how the Jag has held up. I had an A8L that would breakdown if you stared at it too hard.

CTR or F150 Powerboost Lariat

How many flat tires have you had? I have heard and read nothing but problems with the factory 20" wheels/tires. But perhaps, that has more to do with the type of driver that this car attracts? This is the only thing that has kept me away from these, otherwise amazing, cars.

No flat tires in 31k miles. I did replace the /30 series with /35 series PS4S and that made a nice upgrade in the ride and rim protection. There are many good 18-19" wheels available that fit the car and offer better choices of tires, so don't let the potential for a flat stop you from owning a CTR.

The tires/wheels are what stopped me from considering the 10G CTR. It looks great with the oem wheels but I saw some of the 18/19 in. set ups and it just didn’t look right.

I ended up with the ‘21 sport touring with the manual so while I gave up 120+ HP and all the other go fast items, I’m generally satisfied with what I got which is near 40 mpg and 60,000 miles on my original set of tires. I drive a lot of highway miles so it works for me.

I do still wonder “what if” but that is largely erased when I take the nsx out.

Nice CTR you have.

Non si or R Civics are great and I would love one as a daily driver, but the market prices of Hondas seem so high right now. I think accords are going for essentially the same price where I am.

I was cross shopping 6 speed TSXs with my 540 and almost bought two different ones but backed out because one had undisclosed accident damage I didn't find until the last minute and the other one was way overpriced and the guy wouldn't budge at all. Great cars, would have been cheaper to maintain too.

Those of you who loved the TSX, what do you think of the first gen TLX? I'm seeing them at the same price or slightly cheaper than similarly spec'd Accords.

My daily is currently a Stage 3 Audi Allroad 2.7TT w/280k on the old girl she rips but trans is starting to get tired from the past 180k miles of being turned up to 11. She will still troll most sports cars with the car seats in the back.

I’m on the hunt for a good deal on a TDI Q5 to replace it.
