Whats wrong with this picture

There's nothing "wrong with [that] picture." With the exception of a few early 1994 green models, coupes (non -Ts) have black tops. The VIN also indicates a coupe.

It's a rare find for someone looking for a 3.2L coupe!

that's not surprising...

i have a pic hanging in my office of a spa yellow coupe with black top from the 2001 NSX brochure. i've heard that coupe was actually sold to a gentleman in the east coast....anyone care to step up and take the claim? :)

dswartz has a 98 yellow coupe. Not sure if it's the same one used in 01 brochure.

Don't forget to use the FAQ section. ;)

Decoding the VIN, it's eigth position is a "3", meaning "1997+ NSX Coupe with Power Steering, Dual Airbag, Active Belt".

Also, reading the FAQ for Changes by year, it notes that "Coupes can be special ordered with either a black top or a body color top; -Ts still have body colored roofs".

The Page for Production numbers does not list past 1998. :(
