I know colors are entirely subjective, but this scheme is one of the most classic and revered colors in racing. I'm not sure after seeing the mockups that were graciously provided by cyberdog that I'd do it on an NSX, but it is intriguing. And no, it's not the ugliest I've ever seen. Far from it.
If I were to be lucky enough to get at Ford GT, I'd seriously consider that scheme as my first choice.
Last year at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach I was behind a Mosler GT with that scheme, and it was gorgeous. The one I saw was a street version, but here's what it looks like in race trim. In the original Prime post I mentioned it:

I attended the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance a few years in a row, and I don't remember which year it was, but walking up and down the lanes, I looked up and came across two of my favorite race cars of all time: one of the Gulf Ford GT-40's, and the 1970 Trans-Am championship Mustang Boss 302. I took a picture of them and have it hanging in my office.
