what are you guys paying btw

im looking into a na2 and was wondering whats the insurance prices like?

for us older drivers over 25:biggrin:

There are a lot of different factors other than age. It helps if you have a clean driving record, where you live and if you have more than one vehicle insured on the same policy.

I have Allstate and being 25 years old with a clean record and two other cars I pay $700 for 6 months with a $500 deductable.

I have two cars on my policy right now (NSX and a Miata) and I pay just over $600/6 months with a good driver's record, $250 deductables on the NSX with Liability on the Miata. I'm 24.

That being said I just found out I can get a much better price from Progressive...switching soon

$342/year 50/100/100 1K deductible with Progressive.

But I have multi-car/house discounts and a clean record at age 33.

$1800 full coverage for the year on my nsx and wife's cl500 with usaa

Age 21. $750.00/year with 100/300k injury and 100k property. $1,000 deductibles with Full Coverage through USAA.

I wish you guys would list also for where the car is insured as that is a major factor as well for a insurance quote. You dont even wanna know what I pay here in NYC. With a $1K ded and multi car discount im almost $4k/yr for full coverage on my 91 but my driving record is alittle spotty right now also

Was like $2000/yr for me, full coverage, $500 deductible, when I lived in NY. NSX, 911 and Corvette were all roughly the same in that $2000-$2300 range for full coverage. That was with Geico and multi-car plus house discounts.

In PA Im paying $800/yr for a better level of full coverage on Travellers. Had those NY rates from around 29 (when I got my first new sports car, the Vette) up until 36 when I moved to PA. 40 now and rates have stayed stable here in PA.

My record is clean though... Only 3 moving violations (2 speeding but minor, one red light) in 24 years.

41, PHX, clean record, multi-car, full 300/100 w/500 ded @ $900/year
been quoting lately for pre-agreed value coverage as i don't want my nsx's value to be subject to some random adjuster if bad things happen.

I have almost the exact same coverage in the SF Bay Area at age 27 for $497/year. Wawanesa is great!

Oh, no! Not again!!!

Do we really need yet another "how much do you pay for insurance" topic? Come on, folks - this has been discussed here many times before. We already have way too many such topics as it is, and anyone can check the numbers posted in them by clicking on these links:

Finally, to quote Mr. nsxtasy:

"Rates are going to vary depending on company, state, town, age, driving record, coverages and limits, etc.

There's a very easy way to find out how much it will cost for you to insure an NSX. Just call your insurance company and ask. They can tell you, even without you having to buy the car. Or you can check an online service such as http://www.insweb.com"
