Given that "perfect" to me means nothing is broken and just a tad of bling.. here's my list of my DIY- suggestions are welcome, whats yours?

-Fix drivers window motor (bleh)
-Fix antenna motor (almost got this one sorted out) and remount aftermarket trunk amp that sits on top of where the motor goes
-Repaint flaking paint windshield wipers
-fix scratches on passenger door courtesy of cyclist who leaned their pedal against the car and gashed the door... :-(
-Replace right o2 sensor
-Get ultra white bulbs for my running lights - my HIDS make the stock ones look really yellow and crappy.
-get a nice NSX license plate frame (bling)
-Fix trunk struts
-paint calipers gold :-) (bling)
-figure out what to do about 2-3 upshift grind... I know the options, just need to decide
-figure out my weird, brake locking on one side thingy

thats it for now...I'm sure time will give me many more things to fix as things slowly wear out...

On mine, nothing except some warmer weather.

BTW...

The NSX Club of America sells a very high quality, laser-etched one on its website (look under Parts - NSXCA Merchandise - Non-Wearables). It comes in a variety of finishes (they're made of stainless steel) and has a ten-year warranty for external use, which gives you some idea of its durability and quality.

1. Get my A/C working
2. Replace the driver side seat cover (have another one sitting in my offcie waiting for me to do the work)
3. Take out the black ACURA sticker in the center tailight and put on the emblem
4. Have the right side of the chin spoiler bolted back on (currently being held on by double-sided tape because I can't underneath the car to do it)
5. Install a rear view camera to go with my Kenwood 7015 head unit

my "to-do" list:

install thingey in passenger window & clean rails
clean out aspirator fan
new hatch & trunk struts
"real" floor mats (the ones in there now just look, retarted)
install door handle thingeys just in case
get a monel key made
aftermarket keyless & immobilizer
find a OEM cd changer

To make my car pefect, I think I need:

1) new front windshield because of faint "dry streaks" left by previous owner swiping wiper blades across dry glass
2) a couple dime-sized dents removed
3) secure one slightly jiggly headlamp

4) FI and kickass stereo installed in a fashion that does not harm the car in any way.

You might try to remove them using a glass polish, such as the kit shown here. It might or might not work, but at worst, you're only out the cost of the kit, and at best, you've saved the cost (and hassle) of the windshield replacement.

Disclaimers: I have not tried the glass polish myself, and I have no financial interest in any purchases of those items...

Thanks for the link Ken, but I've already resigned to believing that the glass is beyond repair. It is definitely scratched.

What I've done in the meantime is use NXT wax on the glass, which fills most of the fine scratches enough to where they are not readily visible. It's a band-aid, until I have an extra ~$800 for proper windshield replacement.
