My application for this setup is more of a weekend joy ride. I plan on building the motor later in the future. I would like to reach the 500hp marker with a stock motor. so far these are the parts i've collected. I'm going top fmic with twin fal pusher fans (air pushing down from top of intercooler) at 1400cfm with a hatch scoop, fal hatch, aem ems, 44mm wastegate, tial bov, three inch ic piping, gravity oil return, custom oil feed and return.

What do you think about a Precision PT6776S "T3/T67" Turbo (Specs are as follows:

T3 .82 AR rear housing

5 bolt or 4 bolt discharge (your choice)

S-compressor cover (.70ar)

or

Precision GT4088

- 360 degree journal T4

-.64.5 mm Inducer w/ .72 A/R Compressor Cover (4 inch inlet)

-.81 AR back housing T4 tangental (3 inch outlet)

the only two items i'm missing are turbo and injectors....

The 4088 would be nice, but either would do the job. I would say it depends on where and how you are going to mount the turbo. If you are going to do it HP style, the T3/T67 turbo would fit easier. Get the 4 bolt outlet housing as they are more compact (and look better)

Lol, "HP style"

You goof ball. Oh how your goals have changed. I thought you just wanted to make 400 hp now you list two turbo's that have 600 HP potential?

I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Taking it from my own skin I know picking the right turbo is difficult decision. But GT35 4-bolt .70 cold side and .84 hot side should be what the doctor ordered. Turbonetics 60-1 would work too I guess. Going 3" IC piping is little big, 2.5" should be fine.

The question is "more power" or "better low-speed response" (performance aimed at 0-60 or 60-160mph)

I'm sure there is a middle ground for this, that I would like to know too. Turbochargers are too expensive to just hot-swap them.... (I tried)

Turbocharger return line should be as short as possible, and no less then 30 degree angle on the return line

Let us know on the progress

Dave

PS I'm a fan of low end.
