What to look for when going to look at car for sale

I tried a search and cant seem to find any area or thread that talks about what to look for when looking at used NSX's

I also checked the Wiki and didn't see anything

I keep finding allot of NSX's that have been repainted and it worries me, any way to tell if its been repainted like typically they forget to do something when its been repainted?
I remember reading something someplace that there is a vin stamped on one of the fenders? is that true?

Mechanical anything to look at there?

Im not new to lookin at cars, Im just trying to find the unique things to look for on the NSX

Depending what years of NSX you are looking at, there are different things to look out for. First decide what price range/mileage is acceptable for you, and then read about the issues within that year range. Just read through as many threads as you can on the New & Prospective Owners group and you'll get an idea of what people are looking out for.
