If u want to "fight" the police, do it in court because you will loose your fight most of the time on the streets. Right or wrong, the police can ruin your day quickly if you don't cooperate or show some respect. The guy tried to drive away after the cop already told him to stop. How stupid can that be? Maybe he was trying to be a wise-ass and acted tough in front of his "celebrity" girlfriend? Women can make men act stupid and foolish. How tough did he look being cuffed and lied on the ground?

Still, good to have a follow up on this. The felony assault charges were dropped to no one's surprise, so now it is just a question of what sort of civil suits come out of this.
