The daily driver thread below kinda inspired this thread.

What daily driver type car ( under $50,000) are you currently wishing was in your garage right now?

Recently I've been lusting over two cars that I want next. Both can be had had for $28-$35k for slightly used clean examples.

The 2013-2014 Audi A5 is prolly my top choice right now....just has me hooked.

And the Range Rover Evoque is just stunning to me.

I'm a big fan of the IS Lexus lineup and I'm a really big fan of the Jeep Grand Cherokee's. Actually, I'm a big fan of a lot of non exotics lol

Yes, I agree. I have an 06 is250 and love it and really like the new gen, also like that new NX200 ...

Yeah, my next door neighbor has a later model and my hot former neighbor across the street (because she moved out last week due to her and the hubby splitting up) just bought a black IS250 this past Spring. The IS was on a short list of vehicles I was looking to replace my FX35 with.

The VW Golf R.
Something about it just rubs me the right way. Really having a car crush on it as of late. Yeah, it's probably more a kid's car than a big boy car, but I don't care...

Probably best to drive hot neighbor . Ha

Drooling over the NA2 Coupe. You guys really consider the NSX exotic?

From WikiPedia:
Supercars/exotic cars are marketed by automakers as unusual and include limited production specials from an "elite" automaker, standard-looking cars modified for power and performance, as well as models that appeal to enthusiasts from smaller manufacturers.

I can't stop staring at the new C63S. I want one SO bad!

Understated yet sporty exterior, gorgeous and modern interior (minus the floating iPad)...oh, and a 503hp/516tq twin-turbo V8 ain't bad either. The ultimate Bahn burner and a perfect compliment to the NSX, IMO.

Pix or it didn't happen.

Yeah, amazing car, but well beyond the sub-$50K level set by the OP. I think we'd all have some trouble finding cars we'd actually kick out of the garage @ the price level of that Merc.

I drove the Evoque.....but ordered the RR Sports. loves the sports more.............go with the sports!

Im currently looking for an 11 M3 sedan. The motor is great and it has 4 doors to put the kids in the back easier.
I also drove the new f80 M3, And even though its above the 50k ceiling its will be tough decision this winter on which one to get.

Scion FR-S
Steve

I completely understand this. They are quite sporty and the aftermarket is flooded with cool stuff for them, but they have literally taken over my town, lol. Seems everyone has one here. I'm starting to feel like an outcast in my car.
We should rename Beaumont "Scion City"

I voted with my $'s just this summer.
We were looking for a convertible to add to the stable and we bought a CPO 2012 Audi A5 Cabriolet with less than 22K miles.

I think it is one of the best looking cars out there right now and it looks even better with the top down.
