What is that part that connects the SoS rear hatch strut to the upper portion of the

glass? My SoS struts do not have it. It looks like a ball and threaded shaft. Clips in with a friction ring.

I need two and don't know what to call them or where to get them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i'm pretty sure they're called ball studs,i know they are called that on the trunk struts

Why Won't The Engine Glass Stay Up?

This is the same failure as the trunk struts (above). The NSX rear hatch strut comes with the ball stud included, not separate as the trunk lid struts.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy these from Acura separately, only as a kit with the strut....
