What Engine Color is the Standard?

I just looked at a yellow metal flecked 97 with a red engine at my local dealership. It was not the most esthetic match IMHO. I had wondered if the engine had been replaced or the car was repainted. No one at the dealership seemed to know. My 92 has a black engine and I wondered what were the standard engine colors for the different exterior paint colors.

The 3.2L engines come with red covers !

The yellow is called Spa Yellow Pearl.
The red valve covers started in 97 with the 3.2 motors. We call them the red heads! Not to take that away from any other car of course!
