What do you think?

I know what both of you mean but the mesh is perfectly installed. The problem relays in the small plastic parts that exist on the bottom of the central air dam and gives the imperssion that the mesh is unevenly installed.

Those parts were those that held the vertical plastic "grille" that connected to the big horizontal crossmember. I think the shop that removed the plastic part should have removed thos parts too... the first time I saw the car I ahd the same impression. He's working to a solution to make it even anyway...

Anyway I like the "big" hole in the center without the crossmember... it is very 996TT or Modena like without that "strange" fish mouth the 2002 bumber has...

I have an idea that would help "even" out the bottom of the mesh since the grill piece is making it look uneven.

How about painting just the bottom portion black, up to where the grille makes it look uneven? That way it looks straight across the bottom of the mesh

Just an idea.

Where'd you get the SSR Decoltes ?

Ok, as promised, I have finally photos of his car (thanks David!) with the "plastic part" cutted and a mesh inserted both in the fornt and lateral air dams. He also chromed the two mirrors... and seen in reality they look very good!

Im interested in finding out where you got the front fenders? Did you do some modding to get the turn signal to the rear of the fender? or did you get the aftermarken wide fender??

Thats the way they are on European cars & very similar on Japanese also.

I had toyed with idea of removing the bar but with a brand new bumper was reluctant to start hacking (might have been different if I wasn't replacng with new!), so the alternative I think works pretty good - paint it black! It looks even better "in the flesh", pics don't really do it justice - it makes the bar almost disappear.
