    Caveat Emptor!

What do you guys think about this?

I guess the "redline" issue is no issue based on the fact that we all know when to shift don't we? ....

about ONE gauge been yellow (red -I hope) ... tell that to this guys:

Ahhh, I feel kind of stupid... I didn't read carefully enough and thought the thread was about an entire replacement cluster, with the asymmetrical design. Haha, see, that's what happens when I don't get any pics to look at!

But even as just a face overlay, what if both the tach and speedo were a different color, and the smaller side gauges (oil pressure, temp, volt) remained black? I dunno, just thinking out loud...

Well yellow gauges cant be worse than the R-gauges.

I suggest your friend use some other font for the markings - the NSX gauge font look so 80's.

... so we do not need any rev beyond 8k for the proposed new gauge then? As we all knows when to shift.. no? All red 8k rpm gauge....
The matter of the fact is if need to replace an OEM item why make them 'less friendly' e.g. a red faced gauge?

(... pretty bored so a bit of discussion would do me good )

I just got some e-mail exchanged with my friend. The problem is the gauge face is extremely limited in production, I think they only produce like 10 units, and it is just an overlay. They want $500 or so for only the techometer face and that's not including bank transfer and shipping charge. If you guys are willing to drop the doll, I can arrange it for you guys.

It will help if there are multiple buyers because that will save money on money wiring.

There you go.

LOL! Money well spent.

I am more interested in have newer style gauges (TL Type S???) retro'd to the NSX stack. Overlays are out of fad and putting Ferrari parts on a NSX just makes me question why I shouldn't just buy a Ferrari. What you have here is an expensive combo of these two missteps.

Add in that this NSX is an automatic and we have:

Son of a b!tch I want that. I assume the "auto" select is not on the manual shift models. Yes to pricey but man that turns my wrench.

$500 for that? Christ...I can have that made for way cheaper if people really want that. Honestly though, if you want a 430, save up and get a 430 one day.

Why do you think I didn't bother with it until people kept on asking me?
