My clutch has been slipping for a month now but I never smell a burning clutch. It doesn't grab at low rpm but seems to grab better up high in the rpms. Any ideas??? Im guessing its a original clutch with 65K.

Check under the car and see if any oil seems to be leaking around the bell housing. If so, you may have a bad main seal in th engine, or mainshaft seal going bad in the trans causing slipage due to oil soak.

Sounds like regardless you will be doing a clutch job:frown:

Sorry to hear the trouble,

you dont have to smell burning clutch for the friction material to be worn down below specs.

if you smell clutch, it just means that the friction materal is getting taken off at an accelerated rate.

do any burn outs lately? like drop the clutch at 5K?

the car holds well in high rpm? even when you get on it?

regards

Rob:smile:
