Has anyone ever noticed condensation coming from the AC weep hose even though the AC unit was not running? I parked my car after driving it about an hour. When I came back out about an hour later I notice about a cup and half of water under the car. When I inspected the underside It was still dripping from the hose. It was about 60 today and I did have the outside vent on but not the AC. I have only owned the car for 6 months so I haven't had it through all the seasons yet. Any thoughts?
Many Thanks!

So you actually pushed the button to turn the A/C OFF? Otherwise, I'm sure the A/C kicks in some, even if you set the temp high. You didn't turn on defog or anything, right? That would also run the A/C.

I hit the auto button, set the temp to 68 and then the outside vent. Would this turn on the AC automatically?
Thanks!

Assuming that the outside ambient temperature was greater than 68 then: YES.

You can override the A/C request by pressing the A/C button....it will indicate A/C ON or A/C OFF.

When the A/C is operating it will extract the humidity from the air and cause this to happen. If the air is very humid outside more of this liquid will be visible. Like Drew said manually turn off the A/C if all you want is just vent. Turn the temp to minimum otherwise you will not get outside temp air inside, the system will warm the outside air to whatever temp you have selected. Notice that when you use the AUTO mode that you will see the light illuminate on the A/C button when it is in opertion. Use the A/C when you need it, but just know when that is. Vent saves you gas!
