Washing the car soothes me as well. Helps me get my mind off of things. However I have some swirls that need some attention...I hate dealing with those.

I love black. It looks so good clean. When I first got it, once a week was nothing. Now it's twice a month. Thank goodness it's not my DD, cause it would be filthy.

Hey HeySkippy, can I ask if you ever notice any paint imperfections caused by your waterblade? I have one but people on here advised not to use it, especially on black, so I never used it.

None that I can definitely attribute to it, but I've nonetheless stopped using it except on the glass. I just bought more towels. My paint isn't perfect by any means, the roof goes off/on almost every day and a the front end inevitably takes abuse from the road so I figured why risk making it worse.

I've always enjoyed washing all my "toys" as I love to keep everything I own clean, but as other have said it takes just a little more motivation when it's blistering hot out.

After installing resonated TPs, I've noticed that a visible layer of soot settles on the rear bumper after even just a short joyride. It's times like that I'm envious of you Berlina Black guys - my Spa Yellow shows the soot so easily.

the only good thing about berlina is that when dusty and dirty you can pass it off as brooklands.....

I washed my Berlina yesterday morning, and it was a thrill. A chuck of time, yes. A bit of a labour, yes. But a thrill nonetheless.

I hadn't driven her in a while due to insurance changing providers, but I instantly fell back in love as I was washing her. It's all the nooks and curves that draw me to this car. The front end is simple and blunt, yet, complex and sleek at the same time. Gorgeous.

Washing my car gets me back in touch with "that special feeling" again. I love it.

Besides, now she's clean!

Guys I'll add my .02 here. The absolute best drying towel I've found is the Meguiars Water Magnet. It's 22x30 and best $10 you'll spend. I have about 8 of them.

Black is a hobby. I'll take your advice on the drying towel.

I enjoy washing it.... its the well let me do the wheels, oh now the tires, oh now the vacuum, now the leather, now the conditioner, now the dash dusting, then the motor compartment, then the trunk, then under the hood, then go over the paint again for any runs of water i missed with the leaf blower, then hey its clean let me throw a quick coat of wax....

a 20 minute car was is usually a 4 hour minimum process if i didnt have other plans.

Reference time lapse.... This was just after i washed it, concours day i waxed it too.... you see me cleaning almost the entire video

That time lapse caught me detailing the entire time also, Berlina Black takes extra work. That's why I had the buffer and polish out lol. I was the guy in the striped shirt running around that black NSX by the pole. Atleast in time lapse it looks like I'm running lol. It's a labor of love if you have a black car. You work so hard for that 15 minutes of perfection before it gets dusty again.

Use a high speed leaf blower...works well

nothing is better at to dry the NSX than a leaf blower, soap rag touches car, that's it, nothing touched the car again inless its a new terry cloth

that's why mine has no swirl marks. and never dry in the sun
