Group Buy Vivid Racing Advan RSII Wheel Group Buy

Regular can you post more pics of your car please?

Regular that is a VERY nice looking NSX.

Jaffaz

I purchased a set of center caps but didn't like the looks of them with my wheels so I never put them on the car. Which style wheels did you get? My caps are black with advan written in silver or white. I need to check. I was planning on creating an ad to sell them.

I finally installed mine and I like the look but now I need to lower the car. It Never ends:rolleyes:. However I think I bought the wrong offset for the back. They seem to stick out to much. What do you guy's think. Rears are 18X10+35

Freeon that will tuck in nice and flush once you lower it. It's perfect. Trust me. It's not going to rub.

The rub was actually not what I was worried about. It kind of looks strange sticking out like that. Guess it's time to order some suspension parts.

Its going to tuck in once lowered. That's a proven size and offset. The black one above is the same size.

Freeon, don't worry it'll tuck in. Here's the pix to prove it:

I'm about to find out for myself. My new suspension just showed up:biggrin: Will post picture when I'm done.

Looks like you were right. The wheels did tuck in when I lowered it. Any particular ride height I should shoot for to avoid rubbing? Any specific ratio I should have between the front and rears.

glad everything work out for you Freeon, ride heights vary from car to car, as long as it doesn't rub and it works for you, I tried to maintain that "rake" stance for the nsx with a ratio of front lower than rear by 1.5inch.

Where are you measuring the 1.5" at? From what I understand it is about 1/2" measured at jack points, 1.5" measured from points in the manual. Is this correct?

Hey Dave, I measure from the front center of lower control arm bolt to ground and for the rear the center of toe control arm bolt to ground. I was told that by measuring the jack point is not very realiable measurement.

Yes, that is what you should technically use, and that should be a 1.5" difference (less in the front). My issue is my installer is telling me that both there and at the jack points he is getting the same measurement which now I have serious doubts on. These measurement points are not on the same plane, the jack points are. So how can they be the same? I will have to go in there next time, take his beer away and break out my own tape measure. I think whether you go lower or not, that 1.5" difference at those points should be maintained unless you want to change the factory rake. First he told me the rake is off because I have 17's front and 18's rear. That should have tipped me off he is not on top of it.

here are a few pics with some stoptech i recently installed. they clear my +45f 18, +35r 19 offsets perfectly. the rear is with additional 3 mm. even without spacers, there still plenty of room between calipers and wheels spokes.

Damn! Love it! Is that a wrap or a new paint job? Stoptechs look great in yellow.

You need your own build thread. This car looks really good.

Thank you sir! It's a wrap with 3m gloss anthracite. Since I can't decide on what color to paint, I'll play around with vinyl for now. Kaiser silver is one of my choices by the way. As for a build thread, I'll put one up one day.
