Late update..

Well the event was by far... AWESOME.....

Day 1 was rather slippery at first but cleared up in the second half of the day. Day 2 was PERFECT... the WHOLE day.. I hit speeds I never knew I could achieve.... so awesome...

As a side note.. we were the ONLY acura's there.. i'm sure we represented fairly well.. :biggrin:

This was by far the best track event I've been in. The fact that it was "open track" was a surprise. No instructors to drive a track the first time on wet conditions is hardly a good idea. Just on the parade lap, a viper spun out 100 feet in fron of me on the Roller Coaster. The thing is that we were doing just about 35 mph!!! 4 cars went off in the first 30 minute session of the novice group. 6 more in the second session. Thankfully, it stopped raining about mid morning and sunshine came out by noon. Then, speeds started to pick up.

Sunday was perfetc. The mild temperatures and dry track allowed everyone to push our cars as much as desired.
