Verbier (Switzerland) Country Drive pics

Great series of pics - you are really spoiled there for truly beautiful scenic backdrop for your drive.
I love that yellow/black combination - late model coupes are rare over here & especially that colour combo - it looks incredible.
Giuseppe - sorry, man, when I see the two silvers together I like the black roof! (Of course you know I've joked with you before about this!)
Is that blue pearl in #35 or custom? It too looks fabulous, especially with the WW kit & those rims are great - what are they?
That orange is a colour combo I've never seen before either.
It would be nice if you could put some names to the faces in the group photo.
Of course yours looks sweet too, David!
Very nice contribution, thanks for sharing.

great pics. the nsx is meant for roads and scenery like that. sure beats texas roads

I love the orange one and the dark purple/blue one. Is that a stock color like monte carlo blue? Maybe it looks cool because of how the sun is hitting it?

Thanks guys for your nice comments !

D'ecosse, about the blue NSX, it's a custom made chameleon color. You will find more picture on the owner's website.

About the Imola orange, it's one of the most beautiful color I've ever seen for the NSX and believe me the pictures don't give the car justice ! I didn't like the color the first time I saw a picture of it in a magazine but when I finally saw the car for real! WOW!

I think it's the only Imola orange 3.2 coupe in Switzerland and maybe even in Europe ! This NSX was formerly owned by Gabriele Tarquini.

Ravi, if you want higher resolution pictures, send me an email with the pic# that you want.

Nice pics David, too bad i couldn't be there...... maybe next year....maybe....

hey is this the mugen front lip,

enzo, could you ask that guy if he can find me one?

Yea, this mugen lip is nice. I would like to get one too :) :) Kings Motor sports in US does not carry it anymore maybe in Europe it is still on sale. And how much $ one would be ?

Unfortunately, the Mugen front lip is now discontinued since several years !

A friend of mine even contacted Mugen in Japan to try to have one more built for him but without success ! :(

Maybe that we should try to collect enough money to convince the owner of this black NSX to lend us his lip to make a mold for a replica. :D

Sorry for the bad news,

Awesome picture - is that where they filmed some of the scenes from "The Italian Job" ? (the original with Michael Caine - haven't seen the recent one yet)

D'Ecosse : I am not sure but I think that "The Italian Job" has been filmed at the Grand St. Bernard pass (near Verbier where we were yesterday)

Powered by Honda : Unfortunately, I didn't had the opportunity to try the Stelvio pass with my NSX for the moment but it's on my "to do" list. However, I did it some years ago as a passenger on my uncle's Kawasaki ZXR750 ! Nice experience ! ;)

Nice driving

Sunday when I come back in Italy I realy had good time with my NSX but now my tyres are gone to much fun:rolleyes: :(

Thanks to everybody for the nice day

Hi Enzo

Nice road...on the back seat of a Zxr750? I had a 1994 model for years until I changed it for a Zx9r 1998..

I loved the Zxr..very aggressive road handling. It was not nice to ride slow because of the low clip on steer. But throug turns it was very stable.

The Zx9r is not that stable through turns. I need a steering damper. It got more power and lighter in front so it "whiggels" a bit when pushed hard throug corners.

Here are a picture of me when I was at Anderstorp this summer. (Track in south of Sweden). Sorry for not resizing the picture..have not had the time..sorry

Great scenery... the cars i mean. ;)

This scene looks vaguely familiar from the James Bond movie "Goldfinger"; Bond is following Mr.Goldfingers car and he is almost sniped by a woman.

that's a nice windy road. its not much difference compare to what i have here in Vandenberg AFB, though. and the best thing on where im at is after the road is pacific ocean. imma take my car over there and take pics (if im allowed to).

I was told that it is the only pre'02 Imola Orange NSX in Europe. It was Swiss Honda's official showcase NSX... then probably went to Tarquini, then to Roger and then to the "Graubunden" guy (sorry I do not remembr his name! :p )
