For the Veilside fans out there, here's a look at my 98 NSX which is the first and so far the only Veilside NSX in Canada!

The picture were taken in Calgary at the 2007 auto show at the Tunerworks booth.

I promises to post more pictures soon with a more detailed write up on some of the mods.

Enjoy these pics for now!

I know the Veilside kits are controversial, but I really like them! Your car looks fantastic. What is the quality of the kit like? Does it require any structural mods to the car? I'd be interested in hearing your story of the build.

Not too bad!
Any pics of the rear?
As a total package it looks good.
Whos is it, Where will it be located once out of the show?

Looks awsome, the colour totaly makes that kit work on the car. I think Samson has an imola orange veil side kit he I belive is from Van not sure though it was at a few of the sport compact night shows last year. Car looks great though.

Thanks for the ecouraging comments .

Samsons car is not a veilside but some other kit, I know the shop that did his car "autosense colllision" in vancouver .

The quality of the kit in terms of fitment is not bad....Although alot of improvising was neccesary to get it just right. Ultimately it depends on the skill and abilities of the person assembling at the bodyshop. I'm sure any body shop could slap it together but It requires a certain degree of craftsmanship to get all the gaps in the body panels lined up like a mercedes.
Also the kit is FRP which adds it own set of unique challenges.

No structural mods are made to the car other than some rebar being trimmed away in the front to allow both front fenders to be placed.

Props to Jerry at Maranello the bodyshop which did the work and Bobby at Tunerworks in Calgary who tied it altogether.

The wheels are Neez Magnesium. They are made to order specifically for this application, meaning no spacers are used on the widebody. I considered dish rims with a big fat lip but thought of them more as trend . I really like the look of a one-piece wheel on a widebody . Just my prefference.

I saw the debut of that kit at Veilside's booth at the Tokyo Auto Salon back in 2004. At the time it and all the others I've seen since did not really impressed me. I thought the nsx looked best as is. However, yours I really like. Its the colour. With a radical kit, flashy colours looks overwhelming. With a classy colour like yours, the kit really comes to its own. Kudos.

Thanks Oyagi, The colour Is Grigrio Silverstone off the Ferrari F430 . The colour is very understated yet aggressive which I thought would help balance out the wild looks of the kit.
