Personally, I don't care for V-Day. Its a artificial event created by the marketing guru's at Hallmark or someplace similar. Think about it. They(the marketing geniuses) know that the avg. american is broke from the spending during Thanksgiving, X-mas, and New years. So they give us a break for 6 weeks until V- day. This is an artificial event. just like mother's day, or father's day etc. etc.
If you REALLY love your significant other then you love her every single day. You don't need one special day out of 365 days to celebrate it. Actually it would more romatic to took her out and bought her gifts on some other arbritary day. Surprise her - Do it 2 weeks earlier and tell her you couldn't wait until 2/14 to show her how much you love her.
Anyways, I am off my soapbox and
