Yes, but the one difference that is not discussed is the fact that the temp knobs on the Fahrenheit units actually have turn and click positions for each degree and are much closer together than the Celsius turn and click positions.
I wonder what happens when you only change the internal wiring. My guess is that it may be 2-3 clicks per Celsius degree or something. I did a swap from USDM to JDM and did not change the circuit board, just everything else.
Are you saying that you had a USDM climate control which was physically more clicks from one end to the other and you converted to JDM / Celsius without changing the physical controls / front panel (still using USDM) and it's one click per degree?
Do you hit the top of the scale before a full rotation? It doesn't make sense that 1 click F = 1 click C.
The JDM scale is approx. from 18 - 32 which is 14 clicks from 18 to 32
I can't remember the USDM scale but my guess is about 65 - 90 that's 25 clicks.
If you do the math and 1 click F = 1 click C, then your dial will be at about 1-2 o'clock position at 32 and the rest of the 11 clicks just don't do anything or does it jump to 43 degrees? (I doubt it) If you go all the way to click 25 and start downward, does it not activate until after 11 clicks or does it start counting down and reaches 18 degrees at about 10-11 o'clock position?
Sorry but I'm all about the little details as most of you already know...
