Going to an indoor show this weekend. I just realized I have just under a half a tank of gas in my car, and no time to drive it down to a quarter before show check in. Is there a simple way to disable the sending unit so the fuel gauge reads empty all the time?

Thanks in advance

Unplugging it will cause it to read empty but finding a plug that will not disable more then you want is the hard part. The tank has a drain plug on it just drain some out just be very careful a little gas makes a big fire.

So I can drain all of the crap Stabil mixed gas out of my tank and put it into one of my other cars?
