So just acquired a 1993 NA1 JDM import that came with a bunch of mods from the Japanese owner. Research shows a lot of these might be hard-to-get JDM parts, so I'm glad they are already on the car, especially since I didn't pay a premium on the car for any of them!

- Advan AV5 wheels 17"
- Mine's 300kmph speedometer
- Burnup rear wing
- Zeal coilovers
- RS-R exhaust
- Pioneer Carrozzerla Japanese doubleDIN stereo
- NSX Club engine cover (have not found any other pictures of this online)
Owner also converted to R134 A/C, and did radio antenna conversion to a stub antenna. Also still has Japanese "EZ-Pass" installed.

Map Bag &

do the oem map bags count as rare...dont have photo...but i installed them reverse...they are made to go on left hand side of the nsx...and the two panels are different sizes..had to modify and rewrap in new material but now the map bag is behind passenger seat within reach while driving as it is meant to be...with the leather nsx portfolio that is removable....all this to hold my ipod...and make the care little more unique...hope this counts as unique or rare....
I've got one too.
JDM removable Portfolio Case and Fixed Map pocket, pics Portfolio Case only; I have the Map pocket & JDM instructions too:

Unfortunately, JDM instructions are of course in in Japanese. It should mount on passenger side as noted by docnsx01, but English translation was sub-optimal so the previous owner followed the pictures and mounted it on the left, which is the driver's side on LHD.

I've removed it but I'm not sure if I'll install it on the passenger side or not. Maybe now I'll just be the only one at work with a JDM NSX briefcase!
I thought I'd found something new but it's already listed on the Prime memorabilia:

HKS Speed Limit Defencer (SLD)
This information has been super helpful all these years later. I am getting code #17 when my yellow TCS light and check engine light turn on. I have an older HKS speed limiter defence installed in my NA1 to allow the spoon speedometer to work. Car runs fine but after about 30 minutes of driving both TCS and CEL turn on. Car still runs fine even after lights come on but worried about the backup safe mode in which it runs the engine rich issue related to the SLD.
