docjohn said:I have had a cascade of internal events that ended with a cracked cylinder lining So I figured the best way to deal with this was to plop in a slightly used 3.2.I also am going from a 4.55 rp to 4.23 with a rebuilt diff(thanks Larry B)I will have options that are more reliable in the future, should I need to bump hp further.

docjohn said:On paper there is not a big difference in torque, going from 3-3.2 liter, but I do feel the car accelerating quicker at low rpm in higher gears than my old motor. Not a mod I would do just for that fact, but anyone who blows a 3.0 motor and needs to replace it assuming you have a throttle by wire ecu should replace it with a 3.2.I have heard of folks with older cable throttle cars getting complete ecu-wiring harness swaps for the 3.2 as well.
