Looks like somebody hurt the original engine and will "upgrade" in time for Spring.

 Ok so what's the new vrroooom going to have. Naturally aspirated or supercharged. The list is endless so don't keep us in suspense. I guess this is your new winter project?
Have fun !

Was this related to the cams?

I have had a cascade of internal events that ended with a cracked cylinder lining  So I figured the best way to deal with this was to plop in a slightly used 3.2.I also am going from a 4.55 rp to 4.23 with a rebuilt diff(thanks Larry B)I will have options that are more reliable in the future, should I need to bump hp further.

Larry threw in my 4.23 and I couldnt be happier with the setup; and luckily you have a 6 speed with the shorter gears in it anyways. Id roll FI and have a beast for this summer

I'm still an NA dude at heart, but slapping a supercharger on top makes alot of sense as well.We shall see.Anyway my car has won the title of longest suspension on a lift at a busy deallership

Well ,,finally got a few bugs worked out,and we are back in the nsx driving business! If any of you 95-96 folks need a new engine, the 3.2 is a nice upgrade,I can feel the slight torque increase. The most important things to do in the swap is plug the air recirculation system for the ulev if it is a newer motor, and use your old throttle body with the new engine.

On paper there is not a big difference in torque, going from 3-3.2 liter, but I do feel the car accelerating quicker at low rpm in higher gears than my old motor. Not a mod I would do just for that fact, but anyone who blows a 3.0 motor and needs to replace it assuming you have a throttle by wire ecu should replace it with a 3.2.I have heard of folks with older cable throttle cars getting complete ecu-wiring harness swaps for the 3.2 as well.

I kept my old 5-speed shorties but I changed the 4.55 rp to 4.23.This does give me some better top speed in 4th which is what I need for the track.

Sweet upgrade DOC! I was thought you might have been bit by the FI bug

I think they tie an anchor to it and throw it backwards!
