Throw a figure out there of what you want. I'm sure most people will gawk, but at least you don't have to worry about dealing with the OMG reaction over PM with those you might send the price tag to.
The completed hood pictures should be ready by Wed. night when Mike gets the rest of my car together and painted.
Like Mike said it is very time consuming for his shop to make these hoods, I have witnessed first hand how much time it takes and what all is involved, but the hood is top notch!

If we send in our in our own hood could you then put the vent in it? I know you would have it for awhile ,but some of us mid westerners have our car in storage anyway. Also wouldn't have to sell our own hood down the line.

By the way, anybody who wants this hood, but don't want to pay the $120 ($240 to and fro) to ship the hood, I have my OEM hood at Mike's shop that can be made available.

We made the first hood with scoop for whatisreal7 with retains the spare, if you do want the spare gone then the scoop will be a little bit bigger and longer....
- I will make another NA1 hood but you have to buy the hood from me for $300, and that will be the last hood to be made :frown: until my project get done then I will make some more. Sorry guys.

I saw the hood on whatisreal7 's car yesterday at the Blackhawk museum. This was the first template from I ascertained.
The first comment we had was who made it and how well the fit was

Thanks hrant. A lot of blood and sweat goes into each hood, and the special thing is everyone of them is unique, as each is hand cut, hand shaped, hand welded, hand finished. For those that are interested, I have a pre 02 hood sitting in Mike's shop that can be operated on :biggrin:
I may be interested in doing the hood. Alan, if you have time on Sunday....I would like to come take a closer look at that hood if your time permits. Thanks in advance.
