Errr....JDM multi-piece wheels are not high-end? Not even sure how to argue with that. I'd put these on par with the HRE's I've owned.

You must be rolling on some bad a$$ sh!t to think Work is garbage.

I think the Racing Hart CR's look much better. I do like Work wheels however......but those Work's (color combo, size, etc.) don't look as nice as the Racing Hart's.

I am leaning more towards the CR's now that I have the 02 conversion.

The Work's fit the more classic style of the NA1:

BBS, Rays, Advan...now those are wheels worthy of the X. Haven't tried Work or Racing Hart before. The way I see it, I am saving up $3000.00 - $4500.00 for wheels and rubber combo cause they should be an upgrade to the OE wheels (I own an 03 red on tan). IMO mods shouldn't compromise function in the name of form and mods should always be an upgrade not downgrade. Both sets of displayed wheels look decent but I like the second set much better. My question would be are they lighter than your previous or OE set?

Of course they are not lighter then OEM. Also Advan wheels are cast, not what I would call high end (even though they cost as much).

My $0.02...

Your car is really clean... And those choices stick out like a sore thumb to me instead of complimenting / flowing with the rest of the car. Maybe those same rims in a different finish would work. If i had to pick from your two... The works...

BTW try and stick to 18/17 R/F. I've heard negative feedback from various sources about noticeable degraded performance with the 19/18 R/F combo. But then there are others that claim they don't notice anything. Can't comment from personal experience as I'm still on OE wheels. You're also increasing the turning/rotational radius significantly compared to an 18/17 combo. Do some research on the wheels and talk to others that have tried both setups before spending you hard earned coin.

Barf and Barf.

How do u define high end?

For me once a wheel is forged and/or machined from a billet then it's high end.

The rest of it depends on the weight (almost all of them are pretty light) and styling.

LOL.....classic Batmans.

If I had to choose from those I would go with the Works but have the centers painted black or gold which I have seen on other black NSXs and I think looks good.

Not digging those racing harts.

For an oem look, I prefer BBS LMs, Advan RS, or HREs.
(note the word "preference", to each their own)

I think that's a good looking car and both sets look good. I like the look of the racinghart slightly better, but 18/19 is a worse performance choice. I think the racingharts look killer on a black car like that. I'm sure the works are a higher quality set though.

The car isn't black.....but I agree with your statement.

I thought bbs is German.

It is and belongs on M3's (IMHO).

I will say, the CR's look HUGE on the NSX which is pretty cool.

This ^^

Silver/polished lip doesn't look right on midnight pearl...

Try gold. Here's my car back in 2004...

CR's are very dated looking. They have not withstood the test of time IMO. In fact, I was never a big fan when I saw my fist set back in '99 or 2000. I agree with Ryan @ VR. Go with the Work Meister SR1's or Meister S1's in 3 piece (18/19).

Interesting, as I thought the CR's looked more like the OEM 02 wheels and looked much more modern then the Works.
