How close have you guys allowed it to get to the rear valance, don't want to cook it. Also has anyone tried to adjust a bracket while its installed or is it imposssible. By the way, thanks everyone for your advice it is really unique in its sound.

Tom,
For over a year mine has been about 1/4 inch from the valence at its closest point, with absolutely no touching. As to the sound, it gets better, much better with time but I'm afraid you only have my word for that.

What's a decent price for a tubi? I've also heard it sounds more Ferrari-ish. Is that true (in your opinion)?

Thanks!

Tom I tried to bend the hangers while it was on the car with a pipe wrench but I could not get at it . So i bent the hangers on the car insted . They were no problem to get at .
If your Tubi is like mine its to close on one side I couldnt even get one finger in between the pipes and the plastic. I drove it like that for a bit until the plastic started to smell and looked like it was warping. The sooner you fix it the better.

The best price I have seen is 1695 inc shipping . I think Tino still has some left.
If you want to hear one in person I can stop by and let you hear it for your self.

gotta say, Tom and I now have some wonderful sounding exhausts.

the exhaust sounds better in person than the clips we heard, much much better.

curiously, our two exhausts dont sound exactly identical. one of the exhausts has a little more 'burbel' to it??? anyone else explain?

what i was really surprised by is the really clean look provided by the tubi---i much prefer the look over the stock exhaust.

i can say this about the sound---my wife has no comments about the car other than, 'its pretty'. but when i came home with the exhaust she said, "your car sounds really really good. i like new exhaust"

'wimmen, go figure'

anyway, hey TOM, NICE EXHAUST!!!
