I'm sure most of you are aware that NSXs have a hard to close trunk unless you know what I know, which I'm sure most of you do. I bought my car in Colorado and it was shipped to California. The salesman who delivered the car in California told me that the trunk was"very hard to close" and that I just had to slam it until it did. I just read an article about the NSX and the reviewer said that if it wasn't for the "infuriatingly hard to close bonnet" ( I think he was British) the car would be perfect.

Well, I thought I would post this in case there is still a couple of you who are slamming the trunk shut. No need to! Just lower the trunk lid and press down gently just above the latch until you hear the click - presto! Bravissimo!

Don't slam the trunk closed!!! When the lid is down, place a hand on the top of the wing and the other hand on the trunk lid under the wing and GENTLY push the lid until it latches.
The same method is used for the engine hatch.
The lids are easy to close. If you do it right.

I was told not to apply any pressure to the spoiler as it is fragile. I simply put my hand on the lid under it and press until it clicks. It can't get much simpler than that.
