trick for loud walboro fuel pump

I recall someone mentioning a while back that there was a trick to quiet down the louad-@$$ walboro fuel pump at startup on cars.. anyone know what that is?

I think they come with padded sleeves, should quiet it down some.

There was a vendor on ebay claiming to have Walbro quality fuel pump, but significantly quicker for our NSX.

My friend put got a hold of one, but we haven't put it in yet. I'll let you know if it is any quieter once we get it installed.

I have a Walbro also in my car, so I should be able to compare the two.

You mean quiter? Just make sure it's really "Walboro" and not "wazzabibros!"

But yeah, let me know, though I'm not looking to swap them out.
