Monday is a quiet exhaust day, what are they going to do to mute those lambo, Ferrari, cobra down? I know I will probably got kicked out with my set up

No such thing. They have run several events on a monday. I think you are using that as an excuse. again.

just check, remember nsxpo john h. had to put a 5 inches silencer behind his exhaust. Don are so closed to tell me ease off throttle going through T9. I had attend way more track days at Proformance, and last time I went there Don let me run as it's raining and I wasn't WoT.

just make sure with them!

Runnin with the p-cars, f-cars and lambos. Lots of bimmers too. Any other NSXs representen? It is this Monday at Pacific Raceways with Park Place motors. If anyone of you want to come by and bring me a sandwich that would be nice:biggrin:

LOL!!! They were more like 12inch silencers!!! Looked like a catle prod sticking out the ass-end :-D

Anyhow, I'd love to join ya but ya'll know I only have Sundays off.

Great day for most of us. There was a Porche Carrera GT there. Unfortuneately he hit the wall at turn one (120 mph) and the car blew apart. 100''s of carbon fiber pieces all over the track. He walked away and was o.k. Poor guy had to go back to British Columbia without his $400,000 car. They wouldn't let us take pictures for insurance purposes.

Holy spincter clinch, where did he clip that bad boy on the exit or the entrance? I fly through there in the Atlantic and there is a bump that your car can bump steer you to the right if you are not careful so I do not hug it to the right and stay to the left or in the middle. This spot reminds me of deer's leap at the old Port Coquitlam facitity (Westwood) but there you didn't walk away if you got it wrong and that was a serious elevation change that threw you into the air!
Rick

P.S. I will be breaking in a new R&P at Portland (wish me luck as we have destroyed the last two and the forensic analysis data showed the pinions were not heat treated "OUCH" on this Friday but will not participate in the SCCA regional as I have to attend a funeral service on Saturday.

ok, my point proved to be right again, with as much safety that Don emphasized, there's a very disturbing pattern this and that expensive Porsche totalled their cars at Proformance days... again and again...

...... Why?

to much horsepower, to much torque, for daily drivers to run on the track. Those type of cars need switches, beginner gets 200hp. novice gets 300hp, and expert gets the full 450hp+. Supercars of that nature need to be more respected and appreciated for the raw animal it is. This dude hit the exit wall at turn one, to close with peddle uplift. and another note, everyone needs to leave the traction control on. The vettes and cobras like to turn them off and lose it on turn 8 exit when they mash the accelerator to hard.

You make some good observations and strong points, I will be out in my Atlantic clearing out the cobwebs and will keep my head. Even though I have years of experience I know that I have to build my race sense back up before I really try to get after it. It will take a few races to clear out the cobwebs and I will try to make it through each session with incremental goals, such as no missed shifts for a session, then no missed shifts for two sessions, until I work up to none in one day and so on. When you think about it I shift up and down 27 times per lap so in a 30 minute session with at least ten laps that is over 270 times. We do have to be mindful of the concentration level required to drive fast and while I am climbing back into the saddle I still have to build up those skills again. Nice thoughts John!
