i had this desire to take a closer look at the 02/03, and since my local dealer sold their only one, i thought to call greenwich acura. the sales person (who sounded like a salesperson by the worst definition), replied to my question if they had any 02's/03's on the lot by stating, "of course, we're the largest volume acura dealer in the nation, what do you think?" so, with that said, i decided to take the 1.5hr trip down there. what the heck, it's a beautiful day here in the n.e.
so, i arrive and find that the dealer looks pretty much like a little hole in the wall place. never knew that. but to the point... i was told that they didn't have any 02's/03's and there were only 2 or 3 in the entire country. (i guess i look really naive, or stupid, but if there are only 2 in the country, i've seen them both!) but, they did have about 7 older style nsx's out front. that was a nice view. so, wasted trip, but, driving the nsx on a beautiful day like today made it all worth the while. and i must have seen about 5 360 modena's, an F-50, some maserati's, boat load of 911's, some cayenne's...damn that town has some money.

just some mindless blather...

They are not only the largest NSX dealer in the US, but as you noted, they're a hole in the wall type dealership, right across the street from the dealer that has some of the most beautiful F cars in the country. They did have a few 02-03's (I got mine from them the end of January) and they do know how to care for them service wise. Last week I saw an 02-03 blue with CT plates on it (they had one on the lot a month or so ago)( so I assume that was bought from them) going up Anderson Hill Road. Next time you want to take a ride down, ask for Marshall (he's a salesman there, nice kid) and tell him I gave him your name. Or, send me a message, or call me, and you can see mine!!!

It was red w/ blk, my mistake. The more I remember, I see black seats & interior

RPM217,
that's good to know about their workmanship. i needed to find a reputable dealer (where i can get a loaner car!) when larry b. doesn't work out. and it sure is a hole in the wall! i thought it may have been the used car division of the dealership!
and YES the dealership across the street is amazing. made the poor nsx's parked out front look kinda ordinary. (don't flame me on that! i am one of the biggest nsx fans! but, my goodness those ferrari's were pretty tight.)

Before I signed on the dotted line for the NSX, I went across the street and drove the Maser Spider and coupe, the car had a nice feel to it (although the spider has more flex than the NSX-T), I just couldn't get comfortable in the seat. While both the NSX and the Maser don't have adjustable side bolsters, the NSX fits me just perfectly, the bolsters on the Maser cut me in the middle of the shoulder blades. I didn't like the look of the Maser as much, and certainly it didn't "fit" me like my NSX does. But, if you think the cars on the outside of that dealership are pretty, next time you're down this way, go inside and look at their used showroom, I think they're still mopping up my drool!!!:D

Last time I was at Greenwich Acura it was a Sunday and they were closed of course. The fenced in lot was filled with cars and about a dozen NSX's that day. The lot was so filled that a 02 NSX was right up against the fence with pieces of styrofoam were stuck between the bulging fence and the flares of the NSX's fenders/quarters. What a sight!
The place does look run down compared to the dealers around here but I bet their sales numbers kick ass. This is a town where the locals buy Acura's for their live in help or as a starter car for their kids.
As for service, word has it from they are good but they are a bit higher priced than what I've seen here for costs and that's probably due to the location.
Greenwich for, those that don't know, is a very rich town, so rich, they have TWO Ferrari dealers. The other one may not be a actual franchise for new vehicles but, it still was a very sharp looking place with a considerable inventory.
Within a few short blocks you can find showrooms for some of the world's most expensive/exotic cars.

i definitely will go inside next time.
congrats on your new purchase!

I've been to Brae Burn many times, never let anyone valet any of my cars!!! I didn't have the NSX until this year, and still won't let a valet park my car. I know many members past and present, nice club. I used to belong to Willow Ridge, but gave up golf, and stick to tennis. Golf takes too long, and I had to swing too many times to make it interesting. Besides, the only way my clubs would fit in the NSX is in the passenger seat!!!:D
