I leave at 10 am for Calgary and then from there to Houston, Texas to pick up my '91 Formula Red/Ivory NSX. I'm buying the car from MegaZap on the forums here, and it looks simply astounding. I have a 2400 mile drive home and four/five days to do it, then the fun begins bringing it into Canadian compliance. Of course, pictures to follow when I get her back in town on Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.

So if you see a red NSX cruisin' around Edmonton/St. Albert on temporary tags next week, gimme a wave!

Now I have to figure out a way to sleep tonight...

That sounds like the best way to pick up an NSX to me.

You will probably have more experience with the car by the end of the week then Ive had with mine during the last 18 months ;)

Congrats and dont forget to bring the NSX's bra for the trip if you dont have one and happens to passing through Dallas, TX (About 300 Miles from HOuston) then let me know, I loan you one.

Congrats!

What a great way to do it!

I hope you're bringing a buddy with you for the drive!

(If not you're not you'll have to drive the chicks you pick up around for a while!)

That is FANTASTIC! Congrats! Sounds like quite an adventure trip!

Let us know about how the deal went down, and what you did to get everything arranged.

And please, pics. Need lots of Pics!

Cheers!
PS: Hot shower+warm milk+fresh laundry'd bed = 1 AWSOME SLEEP :-)

Congrats! Have a fun and safe trip back. We need to get together when you get back to compare rides. It looks like NSXs won't be so rare in St. Albert now.

Congratulations, Ryan and enjoy the trip back!

Wow, and I thought my Calgary to Victoria trip to get mine was a long one!

You're gonna have a blast on the way back, but just try to avoid getting arrested south of the border

Home... finally home.

I'll have a good write up of the trip tomorrow, with all the pics and stuff.

And not one ticket!! :p

What a hell of a car... nary one problem the whole way. 2417 miles.

Give me a day to write up the trip...

Go Ryan Go

Lets get more of those great US cars up here.

Those southern folk have more than their share.

Congrats on what seems to have been a great journey.

We're all jealous!

AWESOME!! Congrats on getting the NSX!! You will love being an owner. I got my first one when I was 22 and I am still smiling 7 years later. Just remember, they are meant to be driven!! But I have a feeling you figured that out already. ;) :)
