Sorry for confusion. None intended. I simply don't see there being any comparission. In this case - 'bling'. Lots of S2000 locally and only a handfull of NSX. I'm of the opinion that if you want to compare bling of each to compare them against different cars than each other. Hope that helps with the wounds others have sustained because of my statements. :smile:

in a nutshell, downgrading from my '02 NSX to an S2000 will be a TOUGH trigger to pull. I will be honest, I have wanted an S2000 ever since it came out. I have owned 2 nsx's, so I already know what that is all about. I kinda want to try something different, and I can save some cash in the meantime.

seems like a fun car to own, good value...plus is it sexy as hell!

I sold the S2000 in order to facilitate ownership of an NSX. I continue to own a 300ZX Convertible which IMO has more bling than my S2000 did. Thus the reason to rid the collection of the S2000 and keep the 300ZX. Again, it's all opinion and for me personally I can compare similar performing and similar offerings between these two than with the Honda NSX. People it's just a car and continues to be just an opinion. No one person was targeted personally so kindly refrain from targeting and chastising me for my opinion me personally like many of you have.

I'm not targeting or chastising you personally. What I am doing is pointing out again that your comment was stupid and couldn't be further from the truth.

So far, all you've responded with is some dribble about owning this, that and the next thing which might be interesting to you but doesn't deal with the question at hand nor does it deal with your statement.

I believe that the issue here is that Biggles qualified his belief that, in terms of bling, the NSX and the S2000 are not comparable with his infamous "an S2000 is a civic with vtec" statement, which speaks more to something very different than "bling".

I think it is only that statement that has upset people, and I doubt that many would argue over which car has more "bling".

But to suggest that an S2000 is a Civic with VTEC, from a design, performance, purpose, construction, or anything other than how exotic it is, is just not correct IMO. I think Biggles just meant that the S2000 is no more exotic than a Civic. He'd probably say the same about Boxsters.

S2K's are a dime a dozen to put it in your words. I see 'em everyday. Bling to Bling....the NSX wins hands down.
