Wow.

We get those here at my work fairly often. They are the heaviest little weapon one could carry in their wallet. You could slice someone's neck open with those things. Nothing like walking into the dealer and buying a new Bentley on your Amex card.

Picture, please?

I always thought titanium was light

Is it this one?

Wannabe "black card" :p

Invitation only....there's rock stars that try to get this card and get denied. haha

I'm lucky enough to know someone who has one. haha...now there's a card. I feel special just knowing someone who has one! All I have is the damn platinum.

Hmmm,... So some guy is tossing some status card back and forth? Is this the owner of the card and did he do it so that people would notice that he had it or what? Reminds of a guy I was in an elevator with who was waving his Mercedes key more and more to get my attention. When I finally looked over at him, he asked if I wanted to trade cars. He then asked me what type of car I drove and when I said some old Honda he smirked and mumbled something about how it would be unfair to trade his Mercedes for a Honda. What an ASS! :p :p :p

I turned them down when they offered it to me. Why on Earth would I pay a $2500 annual fee for a silly credit card? That ranks almost as high on the "Stupid Meter" as paying $160 for a jar of car wax. :)

>>(why) pay a $2500 annual fee for a silly credit card?
Because the benefits and services that come with it are worth it to you.

>>That ranks almost as high on the "Stupid Meter" as paying $160 for a jar of car wax.
Let me guess - you eat only at McDonalds? No, $5 for lunch is insane when you can get scraps from a dumpster. You wear threadbare clothes and shop at Goodwill. You only drive cars that cost under $500.

I think the stupid meter is reserved for those who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

The perks of the card far exceed $2500!!!

Here's what wikipedia says

The card offers numerous exclusive privileges, including complimentary companion airline tickets on trans-Atlantic flights, personal shoppers at retailers such as Escada, Gucci and Saks Fifth Avenue, access to airport clubs, first class flight upgrades, membership in Sony's Cierge personal shopping program, and dozens of other elite club memberships. Centurion membership also includes personal services including a personal concierge and travel agent. The program offers many hotel benefits, including a free one-night's stay in every Mandarin Oriental hotel worldwide once a year.

The Centurion Card, popularly known as the Black Card, is American Express's most exclusive charge card. Rumors of a special, black-colored card offering dignitaries and celebrities unlimited spending power and after-hours access to high-end stores circulated in the 1980s. While the rumors were false, American Express decided to perpetuate them by launching the Centurion Card in October 1999 to selected holders of Platinum Cards, with an annual fee of $1,000.

The card is available only by invitation and, as of January 1, 2006, requires minimum annual spending of $250,000 on another American Express card and exceptional credit history among other requirements. Certain requirements have been known to be waived for major celebrities and business figures. As of 2006 the annual cardholder fee was $2,500 and it is estimated that there are fewer than 10,000 cards issued worldwide.

The benefits mentioned above are for United States-issued cards. American Express Centurion cards issued in other countries may include different and sometimes lesser benefits reflecting their specific markets. Cardholders have claimed to use the card for things that most would find difficult to believe.

The card is available both as a personal and a business card. A new Centurion card crafted from pure titanium is being issued as a replacement for all U.S. Centurion plastic cards in the first half of 2006. Centurion members in other countries have previously received this titanium card.

American Express has removed certain benefits from the card in the years since it was introduced. For example, Hyatt Diamond Elite status was included up until January 2005, and Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum status was included up until January 2006.

My Harley Davidson Mastercard seems to do me well.
Girls say "thats cool"!
Never had a girl say that about my nsx! lol
But, if i pull all the weights off my rims, maybe the nsx will shake like the Harley and the girls will enjoy the ride more.
